"A Little Something Larger Than Life"

Have you ever received something from someone and needed just what they have given you? Some of you have I am sure. The thought goes through your mind "How did they know I needed that?" or you might even express it by saying something like "Man I needed that... or How did you know?" well God created each and every one of us in His likeness. He knows us from our very 1st cell to the last heart beat and every hair on our heads. Don't you think that He would know just what we need? Of course. He always has and always will know just what we need and when we need it.

If our greatest need had been information, God would have sent us an educator; If our greatest need had been technology, God would have sent us a scientist; If our greatest need had been money, God would have sent us an economist; If our greatest need had been pleasure, God would have sent us an entertainer; But our greatest need was forgiveness, so God sent us a Savior.

We need instruction as a child in school so He gave us His Word We need something to believe in as a promise to take to the bank.. so He gave us His Word. There is an old saying some of you may remember.. perhaps you heard of it I am not sure but it goes a little something like this.. A man's word is his bond.. which means that his word is all you need. No handshake.. no lawyer, no paperwork needed.. He said it that is all I need. That is the same thing here. God gave you His Word. You can stand on it.. take it to the bank. Believe it. His Word is His promise.
